Bowhunting presentation at FACE GA
EBF President Anders Gejer held a 10 minute speech on present developments in European Bowhunting matters on the FACE General Assembly 2021 last Friday in Budapest. The estimated increase in hunters using bow and arrow in Europe over the past 15 years is fivefold and a total of 50.000 active hunters is probably a low estimate.
EBF receives a Management award
At the FACE gala dinner EBF was granted the Invasive Species Award.
“ONE WITH NATURE” WORLD OF HUNTING AND NATURE EXHIBITION
The World Hunting Fair in Budapest is running from the 25th of September until the 14th of October. Spearheaded by Mr. Arpad Ambrozy, EBF member “Magyar Vadászíjász Egyesület – Hungarian Bowhunting Organization” is present with a large booth covering bowhunting from the Stone Age to present day. They are performing a very professional show over 20 minutes each day.
IBEP Instructor Class – 2021 Poland
The weekend of August 21-22 brought 22 new instructors into the International Bowhunter Education Program (IBEP).
This will fill the empty spaces in Poland. A very skilled and competent group of hunters/instructors will now be able to support the Polish Bowhunters Association (PBA) in their efforts to educate future bowhunters.
